Meet Our Family Chairs

Our family has always been deeply committed to giving back and supporting those in need. Sunrise Day Camp resonates with us because it provides children with cancer and their siblings a place of joy, hope, and healing. For Rachel, this mission is especially personal—having lost a close family friend to cancer during her childhood, she understands theprofoundimpact of such a loss. Her years as a counselor at the Boggy Creek Gang Camp shaped her passion for working with children facing serious illness. Maya and Alex have continued this tradition, serving as board members of the Interact Club at Syosset High School, where they raised money and awareness for Sunrise. Maya’s experience as a counselor at Sunrise last summer deepened her connection to the camp and its extraordinary purpose.  As a family, we feel privileged to support and contribute to the life-changing work of Sunrise Day Camp. Together, we hope to make a meaningful difference for these children and their families. ​
