I am thrilled to be leading our Aurora Super staff team alongside Leonard Rose this year. Together, we aim to set a new record of $9,000 raised by the Aurora Team for the 6th AuroraWALKS, on Saturday, April 13th. Benefitting Aurora Day Camp, Georgia’s only full summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, ages 3 1⁄2 – 16, all completely free of charge.

This marks my third consecutive year returning to work at Aurora Day Camp, and I couldn't imagine a better way to spend my summer. Everything you've heard about this camp is true; from the kids to the staff, from start to finish, it's the perfect summer destination.

Having served as a specialist, teaching martial arts and sports, as well as the Unit Head for our second oldest group, The Voyagers, I've been presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to truly provide these kids with the summers every child should experience. With each passing year, our camp registration numbers grow, and so do our fundraising goals. Therefore, I'm reaching out to ask for any donation you can offer to help us send even one more child to camp for another unforgettable summer.

In the last year, Aurora has supported more than 2,000 children with cancer and their siblings through its summer, year-round and in-hospital programs. Every dollar donated stays here in Georgia.

My personal goal is $1000 and our team goal is $9,000 which would be the most ever raised by our staff. Will you me reach my goals? You can either join our team as a walker or donate to my fundraising page by using the buttons at the top of this page.

Your support and friendship will help us reach the $225,000 AuroraWALKS goal which will help us serve more children this summer. 57% of our campers are under age 10, and 37% are younger than 7. AuroraWALKS will take place on Saturday, April 13th at the Concourse Office Park (the King and Queen buildings). Check-In and fun family activities begin at 8:30 AM and the walk starts at 10:30 AM.
